Week 1: Clean talk

In this first module, we will teach you the fundamental tool for dealing with Difficult People: to use Clean Talk. Clean Talk is the Shadow Work version of Non-violent communication where you will understand how certain ways of speaking your truth can be very hurtful and how to speak in a way that you can be heard.

Week 2: Warrior

In this module we will dive into what to do when you judge you difficult person to be a bully, or too aggressive, and you are fed up with them always charging ahead without checking in with you.

Week 3: Sovereign

In this module, we will dive into what to do when your difficult person is just dreaming about things but never take any action, and their inability to take action is grinding on you.

Week 4: Lover

In this module we will dive into what to do when your difficult person is just emoting to much, is all over the place, and their chaos is driving you bananas.

Week 5: Magician

In this module we will dive into what to do when your difficult person is always in their head, or their procrastination make you cringe.

… maintain connection in times of stress and difficulty
… de-escalate situation and restore the balance and harmony in any situation
… recognise your perception of the world and why this person is difficult “for you”! 
… be in action vs reaction
… be at choice in your interactions
… move from being in effect to being at cause of the situation
… recognize that their behavior is NOT about you
… identify and use your internal state/reaction as an access to shifting your perception of them and thus be able to shift the dynamic of the situation
… use your “street-read” (your initial judgment such as they are too much, angry, snobby, emotional etc.) of someone as your superpower to transform difficult people into engaged team members, good friends, nice neighbors, and productive colleagues.

There is a wide range of behaviors that we perceive as being difficult in other people, and in this training we will look though the lens of the four archetypes. You will learn how to apply the six steps that will help you to deal with each of the types of difficult people, and enable you to recognize their behavior, de-escalate the situation, and restore balance to the relationship.

Facilitators

Karin Green

is the founder of Karin Green Coaching, and co-founder of The Dragon Training. She is a Certified Shadow Work Coach, Group Facilitator, Trainer and Mentor, and has been facilitating transformation though Shadow Work since 2010. Karin is also a Master Practitioner and Trainer of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). Karin brings transformation and empowerment though her Shadow Wisdom Coaching programs, and she enjoys being a conduit for her clients towards a more authentic and joyful life.

Mark Broderick

is a Certified Shadow Work® Coach, Group Facilitator, Shadow Types Educator and Organisational Consultant. Since 2011, he has been working (with Cliff Barry and others) on expanding and evolving the Shadow Work® model for new applications in both personal and corporate environments. Based in the UK, Mark also works with individuals and organisations in Europe, the United States, Singapore, Australia and Russia.
